About Kathryn Thomas

Kathryn M. Thomas, is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. During her twelve- year legal career, Thomas completed an internship for the Kentucky Supreme Court with then-Chief Justice Joseph Lambert, worked as an associate attorney in a civil litigation firm, and was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Barren & Metcalfe Counties. Since 2009, Thomas has been in private practice and handles a variety of cases, including criminal defense, civil litigation, juvenile matters and probate matters. She was featured in the South Central Kentucky Business Journal’s “Breaking the Glass Ceiling” edition (September, 2009).

Thomas has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce, the Boys & Girls Club of Glasgow, and is a graduate of the 2009 Barren County Chamber Leadership Class. Thomas has also been a recurring actor with the Far Off Broadway Players in Glasgow and participated in theater productions at Barn Lot Theater in Edmonton. Kathryn is the daughter of Roger and Doris, and sister to Kim, a community banker, and Roger C., a veterinarian.
